ROYAL SMITH is KUOE's premium line of watches. The ROYAL SMITH 90-008 is a cushion case design inspired by antique watches from the 1940's.
 
The cushion case, rarely seen on watches these days, gives the ROYAL SMITH 90-008 a unique profile.  The dial itself has a grainy finish, and the hands are leaf hands. The elegant leaf hands have a three-dimensional design with chevron processing. The indices are hand applied, and their shape is a classic Breguet style for a mix of easy legibility and elegance. The watch crystal and caseback are equipped with sapphire crystal with AR coatings.
 
For the movement of this watch, the ROYAL SMITH 90-008 uses the CITIZEN MIYOTA Cal.9039, a Japanese–manufactured high beat movement. This high beat movement oscillates 28,800 times per hour (8 times a second), reducing the distance of the swing of the second hand and increasing the precision of the watch.
