For KUOE's premium ROYAL SMITH collection, we introduce to you the redesigned ROYAL SMITH 90-006. It is available in either silver or gold case colors, and with either a black or ivory dial colors. Significant design changes for this revision are the "waffle" textured dial, and Swiss-made Super-LumiNova® hands.  The waffle texture adds a little bit of character compared to a plain smooth dial.  And the Swiss-made Super-LumiNova® coating on the hands absorbs light and emits a strong and long-lasting glow in darker environments. The new ROYAL SMITH 90-006 is an elegant design useful for formal occasions, yet is also practical for everyday use.
 
For the beating heart of this watch, we adopted the CITIZEN MIYOTA-made Cal.9039, a Japanese–manufactured high beat movement.
This high beat movement oscillates 28,800 times per hour (8 times a second), reducing the distance of the swing of the second hand and drastically increasing the precision of the watch.
The thickness of the Cal.9039—a mechanical movement that MIYOTA revived after a period of around 30 years—is a mere 3.9mm, unrivalled even by the Swiss-made ETA2824, which has gained worldwide popularity.

What is Italian Leather?
As the name implies. Italian leather is leather manufactured in Italy. Italian leather is one of the three most popular leathers in the world, along with "bridle leather" from the U.K. and "cordovan" from the U.S.

Tanning methods are naturally derived from vegetable-based raw materials. As a result, Italian leather is very strong, resilient, and smooth.
 
In addition, since the leather is "oiled leather" that has been soaked in plenty of oil during the tanning process, the oil that has permeated the leather will dissolve as it is used, gradually increasing the patina of the leather. One of the charms of this leather is that you can enjoy the change of its feel and color over time.
 
Have you scratched the surface of the leather? No need to be worried.
Rubbing the scratch with your finger or nail will disperse the oil soaked into the leather and make it less noticeable.
